EU Representative (GDPR Art. 27): Not currently required at our scale. We will appoint one if future scale requires.
2. Scope
Applies to: exploromedia.ai, exploromedia.com, app.exploromedia.com, and all ExploroMedia Services.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Account info (name, work email, company name)
- Payment info (processed by payment providers - we don't store card data)
- Communications with us
- Content you upload to the Services
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Log data (IP address, browser, device, referrer)
- Usage data (features used, interactions)
- Cookies and similar technologies (see /legal/cookies)
3.3 Information from third parties
- OAuth data from integrations you authorize (HubSpot, Gmail, Google Calendar, etc.)
- Publicly available business information
3.4 Lead Data
- Processed on behalf of Customers as Processor
- Our use governed by the Data Processing Addendum
4. How we use information
- Provide and operate the Services
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Process payments
- Send transactional and service update communications
- Improve the Services (aggregated / anonymized analytics)
- Comply with legal obligations
- Marketing (with consent or legitimate interest where permitted by law)
5. Legal bases (GDPR, for EU users)
- Contract - to provide Services you requested (Art. 6(1)(b))
- Legitimate interest - security, product improvement, B2B marketing where permitted (Art. 6(1)(f))
- Consent - where explicitly required (Art. 6(1)(a))
- Legal obligation - tax records, regulatory compliance (Art. 6(1)(c))
7. International transfers
Data may be processed in the US and EU. For transfers from EU to US, we rely on:
- EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)
- Additional safeguards per EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable
Customers may request a copy of SCCs via privacy@exploromedia.com.
8. Your rights
EU / UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)
- Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdraw consent
- Right to lodge complaint with supervisory authority
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
- Right to know, delete, correct
- Right to opt-out of sale (we don't sell)
- Right to limit use of sensitive information
- Right to non-discrimination

9. Data retention
- Account data: duration of relationship + 3 years
- Log data: 12 months
- Lead Data: per Customer's instructions and DPA
- Billing records: 7 years (tax law)

See /legal/security for detailed measures including encryption, access controls, monitoring, and breach response.
11. Children
Services not directed at persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
30 days' notice via email plus website notice for material changes.
